COURSE PHILOSOPHY

The BDTVEC HND in Business course aimed at preparing students for careers as managers, directors, and administrators. The course has been redesigned to prepare its diplomates to meet the needs of the business industry of Negara Brunei Darussalam. The special needs of Brunei Darussalam are incorporated in the course by specifically equipping students with those skills necessary for them to make an immediate and significant contribution to the local business industry.

COURSE AIMS

The programme aim to set about equipping students with a certified strong foundation of Business and Management to:

1. Grasp the fundamental principles, theories and concepts relating to the business administration, finance and basic economic function.
2. Understand the dynamic nature of challenges and opportunities that confront the marketer; how to incorporate the marketing communication mix to the business structure.
3. Gain broad understanding of the interaction between marketing and business management and relate strategic marketing issues to underlying theoritical concept for appropriate disciplines.
