This month of April served as a rewarding time for the Diploma Business and IT students of Cosmopolitan College as they were engaged in numerous activities such as attending an educational visit to the Orchid Garden Hotel on April 9 and 16, viewing the Art & Design Exhibition at the University of Brunei Darussalam and visiting the UBD Library on April 23, 2014.

The Faculty of Language and Communication of the college has arranged these visits to instill within the students a sense of responsibility, to enhance communication, to teach self-discipline, and to form camaraderie.

According to the Faculty Leader, Anjana Nambiar, “It is very essential to expose these students to know what is practically going on in different industries in Brunei. This will make them understand and appreciate what they are learning inside the classroom. Furthermore, one day, these students will graduate and get employed. The college aims to equip them with skills that they will need to become better individuals in their chosen career.”

Altogether, there were 46 Diploma students who participated in the said activities. The college has lined up several activities for this semester and hope that this term will be worthwhile and truly rewarding for these students.
