Cosmopolitan College: Basic Accounting Workshop

Cosmopolitan College recently organised a one-day workshop on Basic Accounting for their students. The objectives of which were to prepare the participants for accounting modules this semester, to provide revision to those who already have prior knowledge and to strengthen their basic accounting skills.

“It was really helpful attending this workshop. I came to know and understand the different terms used such as ledger, journal, liability, credit and the others. Now, I feel prepared for my Business Finance subject this term”, says Dk Rose Hameezah Aqilah Binti Pg Hj Rosman, a student who is now on her second semester taking up Pre-National Diploma in Business Finance.

Building on a school community that develops employability skills, the college has planned several academic activities for the students to hone their communication skills, IT skills, business skills, and interpersonal skills. The college has set educational visits, trips and several more workshops for this semester.
