GRADUATES were rewarded yesterday as Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology (CCCT) held its 11th Convocation Ceremony at The Empire Hotel & Country Club. The proceedings saw Dr Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Latip, Chairman of CCCT deliver opening remarks. “I am pleased to announce that this year Cosmopolitan College has produced another 376 new graduates,” he said.
The range of courses included SC2, SC3, Diploma in IT and Business, HND in IT, Business Accounting, and Business and Management courses as well as LCCI Level 3 courses, NCC-ICB, NCC-IDB and Foundation Certificate to Higher Education (FCHE) and International Diploma in Gaming, Animation. and Technology (Informatics). The chairman congratulating the graduates said “You have done tremendously well, and you should be proud of your achievement “Of course, your success is also our success.
At CCCT we always place very strong emphasis on our teaching philosophy, that is, in creating a culture of excellence that challenges students to be transformed into successful managers, and even leaders and entrepreneurs. CCCT, albeit small, is a very ambitious institution, determined and committed to hoIistic education encompassing your mind, your body and soul. What this means is we place equal emphasis in education, skills development, sports, extracurricular activities, Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) activities and of course, learning.
“We continuously remind our team of lecturers, trainers and facilitators to provide academic knowledge topped with all the important skills in novel and creative ways, to ensure students will see the benefits when they enter the job market later. At CCCT as well, we use innovative platforms ,in our teaching and learning methodologies, which include the student management system, and also easy learning, where students can discover, interactive ways of learning and lecturers have the flexibility and convenience to assess students performance, their attendance and many other things.”
Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, the Minister of Education attended the convocation ceremony as the guest of honor, presenting certificates to the graduates. He also presented awards to excellent students.
