WELCOME TO COSMO, LEARNING PARTNERS!

Welcome to COSMO Learning Partners! Thank you for choosing COSMO!
Cosmopolitan College had received a very good response from their recent Intake 15. Team COSMO welcomed their new and progressing Learning Partners through an orientation week that was held on the first week of October 2023. Team COSMO- staffs and lecturers, had worked hard weeks prior to the orientation week to accommodate the Learning Partners with ease.
Cosmopolitan College of Commerce & Technology now offers 5 programs; Information Technology, Creative Media, Business, Retailers and Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. COSMO’s core values are employability, innovation, service, outcome, trust and fun in which these values become the belief that will support the college’s vision and shape the college’s culture.
The orientation program began with the recital of prayer and welcoming remarks from Miss Nadirah Binti Jambol, Principal of Cosmopolitan College of Commerce & Technology. In her speech she welcomed and congratulated the Learning Partners who are embarking in the new academic journey with COSMO. She has also emphasized on the importance of education in everyone’s life as education is not only about acquiring knowledge and skills but also prepares us for our lives. Furthermore, Miss Nadirah encouraged students, in which she said,
“As we start this new semester, I encourage all students to approach their studies with a growth mindset. This means that you believe that your abilities can be developed through hard work and perseverance. Remember that failure is not the end, but rather an opportunity to learn and grow.”
The speech was then followed by a briefing about COSMO’s Study Pack which includes the mention of the BTEC Courses, Educational Allowances, Learning Industry Skills in COSMO, as well as their Student Wellbeing Support, each topic delivered by different staff and lecturers of COSMO.
In collaboration with the orientation week, there were 3 companies who had set-up a booth at COSMO’s student lounge. There was Ying Bee X OATSIDE- who gave away sponsored flavored oat milk to students.
Progresif was also present to showcase their products and offer special deals to the students. Additionally, Takaful Brunei was also present and was open for insurance registrations for the Learning Partners.
One of COSMO’s top priority is ensuring that the Learning Partners receive a high-quality education. This means to provide them with engaging and challenging learning experiences, as well as the support they need in order to succeed. To receive support for their education, COSMO has outstanding lecturers and staff who are dedicated in providing students with effective teaching strategies and support programs.
Team COSMO is excited to welcome their new and progressing Learning Partners to the new academic year and looks forward to working with them to achieve their fullest potential.
Remember that education is a journey, not a destination. With hard work, perseverance and a growth mindset, we can achieve anything we set our mind to.
